I’ve been working on the newborn photos of Sophia this week, and wanted to share a few more. I know mom is itching to see them all, and will have them shortly.

I also caught a few moments with father and daughter that are just too precious to not share.

I’m so happy to have had the chance to photograph baby Sophia. Her parents are dear friends of ours and I know how excited her mommy has been to meet her. As I went through the images, this one popped out at me and I had to share it with everyone.

The P family welcomed Lizzie and Charlie to their family 9 days ago. Today I had the pleasure to spend the afternoon with them! They were wonderful models and slept the whole time. Well, when they were eating.
I could tell Lizzie already has her daddy wrapped around her tiny fingers! More photos to come, but I wanted to get a sneak peek up tonight.

Sometimes I feel bad when I ask a family to meet me at 6:30 in the morning. I feel bad when the weather is a bit cloudy and looks like it will rain. And hey, I’m not a fan of getting out of bed that early myself either! But sometimes, the family arrives and the kids are full of energy and want to run around and have a good time. Today was one of those days.
The boys explored the wild flowers and found 3 caterpillars while we were out this morning! What a fun time.
Josie, I thoroughly enjoyed spending the morning with your family and hope you will enjoy the results. Here is one of my favourite group photos from this morning.

I also wanted to include one of the outtakes because really, who can resist a belly button?

I got to spend this morning with an absolutely adorable baby boy. He has a head full of lovely brown hair and slept the entire time. How dreamy is that? His parents say he sleeps well which would explain how lovely his mommy looked. Watching the three of them interact was breathtaking. You can see how much they adore him.

I can’t wait to work on the rest of the photos from today, until then enjoy your sneak peek, A Family.

Here’s a good way to make sure you will have a overcast and dreary day: Book a session with me!
Just kidding. But I have had some bad luck with weather lately. Today I met up with S and her extended family (all 14 of them)! The sky was overcast most of the time and we had some sprinkles in the beginning, but it got better towards the end. They were good sports though, and we had a great time. I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did!
Here are a few previews that I spotted as I downloaded the photos from my camera.

2, 4, 6, … 22, 24 eyes all looking at the camera. WOW!

Gotta love the outtakes too

I have had a session with the A family scheduled for a while, but we have had to bump it a few times due to various conflicts. Today was finally the day. I headed out bright and early to meet up, but before I got to see them I was met by rain instead!!
Since we were already on our way we decided to stick it out, and we had good light for a while until the drizzle started. I think we all had fun even if we got a little wet.
The family is just soo adorable! I think I might have to talk mom into more time with the girls and the camera in the future.

Who can resist a girl and her daddy.

Look how grown up she looks!

Tonight I met the A family. Let me tell you, they were so warm and loving. I could have spent the whole night with them! Big brother had me in stitches from laughing, I think he might be the coolest 8 year old I’ve met.
I love how peaceful and beautiful J looks!

This shot just gives me goosebumps. How lucky is this baby, such a warm and loving family!

I can’t wait to meet the little one!

I met up with a very cute family this weekend. The kids were a little shy to start with but warmed up towards the end of the session. I can’t really blame them, I don’t think any of us are used to being up and out of the house quite that early on a weekend morning. Hehe.
I never got around to posting same-day sneak peeks, but I am sitting here working on their photos tonight and wanted to share a few of them!
Thank you so much for getting up early to meet with me, G family!

Look carefully, how many children are in this photo? ![]()

As some of you might have noticed, I have not announced any bluebonnet sessions yet.
I wanted to make sure I had some great locations scouted before I opened up for bookings. This year has turned out to be a phenomenal bluebonnet year, but I have not been able to clear my calendar like I expected.
Due to some recent developments in our life, things will be a bit chaotic for the next several weeks, after which most of the season will be over. So I’m afraid my plans of doing a larger number of sessions this spring will have to be postponed.
That being said, I do have a few slots open for clients. Details are:
A 30 minute session in which we meet up at one of the bluebonnet fields in or around Round Rock. 5-7 edited images, printed in 5×7 format is included, as well as the same images in an online gallery for ordering (or on CD if you prefer, for printing at your location of preference).
Session fee (including prints and CD) is $75, $25 of which is due at time of booking.
Email me to check for availability. I can unfortunately not be quite as flexible as usual, but I will try to accommodate.
